Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Crystal Lake, IL

Everything was wonderful. I had not stayed in a Country Suites since quarantine, so my expectations average. I know that businesses had to cut back because of rising costs. I was pleasantly surprised at the hospitality. I worked in customer service over 30 years and they were top notch. The breakfast was filling, although I missed the sausage and gravy (maybe that was at another location). I would definitely stay there again and recommend them as well.

The bed was comfortable - I have a bad back and I slept good every night. The electrical outlets were sufficient for both of our things that need to be charged every night. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfasts were very good - and there was a variety of hot items available. There was coffee at any time we wanted it. We stayed for 6 days. Really enjoyed it.

The breakfast rotated between the mornings. There were always some variety of eggs, sausage and hashbrowns. They also had the make your own waffle station, some baked goods as well as oatmeal. Ample coffee, juice and milk. A good way to start the day.

Breakfast was good, nice choices, coffee all day was great. The location worked well for us liked the iron and board . Microwave and fridge.

The room was very spacious, with 2 pack n plays there was still room to run around for the kids. Everything was very clean. Fridge was very helpful. The hotel has a pool (pretty small) but we did not use it. Very quiet room, we did not hear any neighbors so sound proofing seems to be good (or, we were lucky) . Easy drive to our planned activities in Volo and Marengo.
